Queensland Government considers scrapping the Brisbane 2032 Olympics

Senior Nine News Reporter Tim Arvier revealed that the Queensland Government sought advice on how much it would cost the state it they canned the 2032 Olympics.

UPDATE: The Queensland Government have denied this claim, releasing a statement to The Courier Mail:

“The government has never sought advice about cancelling the Games.”

“We’ve always said Queensland would deliver a great games – not once did the government ever have the intention to cancel the games.”

“We have decided not to spend $3.4 billion on a new stadium.”
