Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store on Blackwood Street in Mitchelton last night.

At around 8.30pm, two masked armed men entered the store and threatened the female attendant inside, demanding cash and tobacco.

The attendant complied and the pair fled in a later model silver hatchback.

Anyone with vision or further information about the incident is urged to contact police.
