Vitamin C a benefit to type 2 diabetes sufferers
A study by Deakin University has found that taking large doses of Vitamin C can help type 2 diabetes sufferers.
The research found that doses of 500mg twice daily can work to lower elevated blood sugar levels and reduce blood sugar spikes after meals.
It’s about 10 times the normal dietary intake.
Associate Professor Glenn Wadley from Deakin University cautions Mark that it is a complement to not a replacement for treatment.
