The ironman with something extra in the tank
Completing the Cairns Ironman is a great achievement in itself but imagine doing the race with only 30 per cent lung capacity.

Russell was diagnosed in 2011 with a progressive condition called Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and will do the run and cycle legs with an oxygen tank in tow.
Russell is hoping to raise $50,000 for the Lung Foundation and he tells Mark his race will be a world first.
