This is hardly a new thing. Venom has been a critical part of medicine for a long time.

Someone who works with this stuff day in, day out is Dr Sam Robinson.

He’s a bioscience research fellow at the University of Queensland.

He’s here to dissect his day job studying the venoms from all over the world.
