More to be done to curb domestic violence
On average at least one woman dies each week in Australia as a result of domestic and last month seven allegedly died at the hands of their partner.
This week Queensland’s Domestic and Family Violence Death Review and Advisory Board tabled its annual report which examined the deaths of 30 women, children and men.
Betty Taylor from the Red Rose Foundation is a board member and tells Mark change is slow but things are improving.
