Mango Hill mango trees given a stay of execution
Mango Hill locals have had a win against plans to remove 11 historic mango trees that line Anzac Ave to make for access to a planned real estate development.
The state government has blocked the removal but plans for a new intersection may mean several could still get the chop.
President of the Mango Hill Progress Association Laurence Christie tells Mark that while his group accepts the change the trees themselves must be saved.
