How the egg is laid is a priority for shoppers

New research by the CSIRO has found that when grocery shoppers decide which eggs to buy their number one priority is how the egg was laid.

Queensland accounts for 28 per cent of the 17 million eggs laid every day in Australia.

The CSIRO’s findings are being used to drive the industry’s sustainability and Rowan McMonnies from Australian Eggs tells Mark there’s been plenty of change in the last 15 years and there’s more to come.
