City folk voting with their feet to make a tree change
In the past five year more than 400,000 city dwellers around Australia have packed up and moved to the country with almost a quarter relocating to regional Queensland.
With a federal election in the offing the Regional Australia Institute today launched its National Population Plan for Regional Australia.
RAI co-chief executive Kim Houghton tells Mark that among the key planks are devoting more money to regional infrastructure and making it easier for international migrants to live in the country.
