A major milestone in the battle against AIDS in QLD

After almost 40 years the state government has announced that AIDS will no longer be a notifiable health condition in Queensland.

That’s because in 2017 there were only 12 new cases reported in the state.

Queensland AIDS Council President Peter Black tells Mark the success is down to very effective anti-retroviral treatments and education.
