Brisbane will be a sea of green today with celebrations expected to continue well into the night for Saint Patrick’s Day.

March 17 marks the Feast of Saint Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint.

Queensland Irish Association Vice President Seamus Sullivan told Neil Breen there will be plenty happening across the city.

“We’ve got a mass at 10 o’clock today at St Stephen’s Cathedral this morning to celebrate the St Patrick’s Day Mass and that kicks it off.

“Then we’re heading down to Wests Rugby Union Club at Toowong.

“Past lunchtime, what happens after that, I have no idea!”
