Why Prince Andrew could be evicted from the Royal Lodge

Prince Andrew is facing an eviction from his Windsor home as King Charles looks to slim down the monarchy.
The new monarch plans to cut his brother’s annual subsidy of $436,000 in April.
It means the Duke of York will need to fall back on his modest Navy pension to financially contribute to the upkeep of the Royal Lodge if he wants to stay.
“We’re talking a £30 million home, which has got 30 rooms, and therefore, a dozen bedrooms or so,” UK correspondent Adam Gilchrist told Laurel & Mark.
“It obviously needs servants and the full thing. If he’s not going to get the money to keep going, then he’s got the elbow, hasn’t he?”
