A man who was caught with more than 1000 pairs of women’s underwear will face court today, charged with stealing the garments.

In October, a woman reported a bag of her underwear had been stolen from her hotel room at Mascot, in Sydney’s south.

Following extensive inquiries, detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Sutherland Street at Rosebery on November 6.

During the search, police found more than 1000 pairs of women’s underwear, bras, and swimwear.

A 37-year-old man was arrested at the home and has been charged with breaking and entering and stealing.

Police It’s alleged the man stole the woman’s bad of underwear from her hotel room.

He’s been granted strict conditional bail over the last month and will face Downing Centre Local Court today.
