A motorcyclist is fighting for life after being struck by a vehicle allegedly driven by two underage teenagers in Wynnum West this morning.

The 59-year-old man was struck by a Nissan X-Trail, which had earlier been reported stolen, at the intersection of Kianawah and Youngs Roads just before 9.30am.

Police were quick to cordon the area off and two 15-year-olds, a girl and a boy, were taken into custody not long after.

Paramedics transported the 59-year-old to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

Investigators are appealing for anyone with dashcam vision of the vehicle, a white 2014 Nissan X-Trail with the registration 433VMK to come forward.
