The century-old Brookfield Show is back from next week to celebrate the best of metro and regional agriculture. 

Traditional competitions like needlework and cookery will return this year with COVID-19 health restrictions lifted.

Show President Catherine Fullerton told Neil Breen thousands of people are expected to pass through the gates.

“The rides are back, the big rides,” she said. “In fact, I’m standing here beside the biggest Ferris wheel we’ve ever had!

“We just want to welcome everybody to the Brookfield Show.”
