The story of Brooke and Peachy has touched all of our hearts, and now, Neil Breen has given an update.

Brooke Bretherton told Neil Breen in November of her struggle to keep her head above water as her daughter undergoes cancer treatment.

The biggest struggle was while Brooke’s daughter Peachy required treatment at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, they live in NSW.

It meant rent back home was still due each week while they paid for AirBnBs in Brisbane.

“I was inundated with lovely offers of accommodation and anything else that might help the lovely family during the challenging time,” Neil said.

“I’ve spoken to Brooke and she wanted me to pass on her thanks to everyone’s generosity.

“I want to pass on my thanks to your generosity for them as well, particularly the Queensland Cricketers club.

“Brooke and little Peachy have a big journey ahead of them.

“We’ll keep in touch with them and we’ll send them all of our love along the way.”
