Rove McManus will go head-to-head with the self-proclaimed Handball King Kevin Rudd.

The former prime minister has been going around to schools, competing against the students and offering signed handballs.

But he has set his sights on his next competitor and his challenge hasn’t gone unnoticed.

The two will battle it out this weekend on Rove’s new show Saturday Night Rove.

Rove tells Steve Price he is ready for the match.

“He’s 51 with dodgy knees and if I can’t beat him I really have no business doing anything anymore.

“Look, he owes me for a prime-ministership so it’s good that he’s stepped up to face me in handball.”
