A 10-year-old boy has been missing from the Deception Bay area since February 9. 

He was last seen by his family around 8am near Old Bay Road.

Police have received reports the boy was sighted in the Brisbane City area this week but hold concern for his welfare due to his age.

They’re asking for public assistance to help locate the boy.

He is described as 160 centimetres tall with a solid build, olive complexion, sandy hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen in a black Nike t-shirt and dark shorts and is known to frequent the Moreton and Brisbane City areas.
