Stem cell technology helping save injured animals

John Stanley

Rob Zammit, Nights Resident Vet, joins John Stanley to highlight the astonishing number of animals being put up for adoption after being purchased during the Covid pandemic.

“During the Covid pandemic, you couldn’t buy a dog, they were very expensive, and people were breeding dogs left, right and centre”, Rob says.

“We need to get ahead of these things and formulate legislation that stops this type of thing from happening in the future”.

Rob also chats about some exciting, cutting-edge stem-cell technology that he’s using in his veterinary clinic to help injured animals.
