The practice of genealogy, researching one’s ancestors, has exploded lately. The preoccupation with who we are and where we came from has plagued humanity since the dawn of civilization. We put up pictures of our great-great-grandparents, whom we never met and are long dead, and bore all of our house guests with their stories. But what does it all really mean?

Brad Argent is a family history expert from Ancestry, and joins John Stanley to explain it’s never too early to start the conversation and create records for future generations. A name of a relative is one thing, but their life story can bring joy to generations in the future if recorded properly.
