Social media expert’s key to curbing youth offender ‘post and boast’ online crime trend

 Almost 200 youth offenders have been charged under Queensland’s post and boast laws.

Teenagers have been caught sharing videos and photos of their criminal acts, with some being arrested while livestreaming their crime sprees.

Social Media Expert and Founder of Dark Horse Agency, Nicole Jameson joined Bill McDonald to discuss how social media trends impact behaviour.

Ms Jameson highlighted the need to shift the focus from banning teens from social media saying, “We as parents need to step up our knowledge and education with our kids about what the appropriate behaviour is.”
