Skoda’s large 2024 Kodiaq SUV revealed

Skoda’s large Kodiaq SUV has been a firm favourite for some time the Czech
brands No. 2 seller and the company recently revealed the second-generation
model due in late 2024. The seven-seater is minimally larger in all dimensions and
gains more luggage capacity and will be launched in Australia in 2.0-litre turbo
petrol form. With 150kW of power, 320Nm of torque driving through a seven-
speed dual clutch automatic. A mild-hybrid powertrain has not been confirmed
yet for the local market utilising a smaller 1.5-litre engine with 110kW and 250Nm
driving the front wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch automatic. In the
meantime, the current Skoda Kodiaq has been freshened with more features
including rear traffic alert, side assist, auto dimming rear mirrors and power child
locks. With improved supply Skoda sales are running 27 per cent up on last year.
