Shannons’ Sydney Classic on Sunday at Eastern Creek– over 2,000 classics on display

Around 2,000 classic cars will make their way to Sydney Motorsport Park at Eastern Creek on Sunday for the annual Shannon’s Sydney Classic – 110 car clubs will be participating tomorrow covering car, motorbikes, scooters, military vehicles, fire engines both on display and running at various times around the race track. You can even take a ride around the track in a vintage bus for a gold coin donation. If you like looking at some interesting period cars of all ages this is a great day out with something for all ages. Your chance to see a great range of Holdens, muscle cars, unusual makes like Willlys Overland, Morgan, names from the past like Hudson, Lancia, Jensen, Vauxhall and Studebaker to name a few, even mini cars like Isetta and Meschessmitt – if it’s got wheels it will be there in some form. Its organised by the Council of Motor Clubs who raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Entry is $20 with kids under 15 free.
