Queensland University fights to save the Bilby
The Bilby is one of Australia’s most threatened species.
From once roaming across 70% of the continent they have been decimated by introduced predators such as cats and foxes.
A team of researchers from the University of Queensland has created a 28 hundred hectare reserve in the state’s southwest.
Dr. Sean Fitzgibbon from the UQ School of Agriculture tellsMark they’ll now be able to study the Bilby like never before.
