After a petition from nearby apartment residents threatened to blow the whistle on night games at Prentice Park, North Brisbane Football Club is refusing to back down.

Club treasurer Greg Vitulano explained why shutting down after a century of grassroots sports would leave hundreds of local kids and families stranded.
