Queensland business with sky high ambitions
A Logan business this week has achieved an Australian aerospace milestone.
Black Sky Aerospace successfully launched the country’s first commercial rocket which carried payloads for three clients on a sub-orbital flight.
The Sighter-190 rocket was launched near Goondiwindi and reached an altitude of 5,100 metres before returning to earth by parachute.
Director of Operations Blake Nikolic tells Mark the important thing about the launch was proving to industry, the military and government that Black Sky’s vision is real, not pie in the sky.
