Protecting pedestrians in the Brisbane CBD

The Brisbane City Council is to change speed limits and improve a number of crossings in the CBD in an effort to better protect pedestrians.

A Pedestrian Safety Review identified Albert, Ann and Adelaide Streets as the main trouble spots.

Council Infrastructure Committee Chair Cr Amanda Cooper tells Mark while some pedestrians are their own worst enemies it is all about saving lives.
