Ever dreamt of getting behind the wheel of a Porsche?

Well, Porsche Cars Australia has just launched a pilot rental scheme that allows you to drive your favourite Porsche sports car without actually buying it. Porsche’s Drive Rental first introduced in Germany in 2014 and now in 60 locations in Europe, North America and Japan was launched in Melbourne this week, on trial for six months to evaluate local demand and will flow on to other capital cities if successful.

You can rent for a day, a weekend or a week – the 24-hour rate for a Carrera S or 4S – $911, for the 718 Boxster S $718 while the electric Taycan 4S will set you back $899. If you’re heading to Melbourne, you can book online at porsche.com.au/drive and collect the Porsche of your dreams from Porsche Centre Melbourne.
