The New Zealand Warriors have teamed up with Logan City Council and announced a new training academy to be based in Logan City.

Warriors CEO Cameron George told Peter Psaltis on 4BC Wide World of Sports, “We really aligned with their values and what they want to achieve within the region.”

“It’s got a huge population of Kiwis that have moved over from New Zealand, or second or third generation. And we felt that we could really connect with their region and offer opportunities in the community.” George continued.
