Southbank is set to cement its reputation as Australia’s premier cultural precinct with the unveiling of plans for a new $150 million theatre as part of QPAC.

The new theatre will offer between 1,500 and 1,600 seats and is expected to be completed in 2022.

QPAC Chair Professor Peter Coaldrake explains to Mark that the theatre will deliver an estimated 260 additional performances a year.
