More rain expected in flood-affected parts of NSW as rainfall shifts towards Eastern Victoria

Four people have lost their lives as rain continues to batter parts of New South Wales today.

Long-range weather forecaster Ken Kato says heavier rainfall has shifted to parts of eastern Victoria, but he warned parts of New South Wales will continue to see “moderate to locally heavier” rainfalls.

“Given how relatively wet the catchments are in a lot of Eastern New South Wales, you still couldn’t rule out the possibility of flooding in that area,” he told Sofie Formica.
