On the show: Feegs is back and LIVE from the Ekka! First up, Feegs covers the recent reports of a group of globally renowned architects – including the firm behind some of the world’s best stadiums – who have put forward a plan to transform Brisbane’s North Shore into a one-stop Olympic precinct in time for the Brisbane 2032 Games.

Feegs also meets more of the fantastic personalities behind the scenes and amongst the festivities of the Ekka including president of the Showmen’s Guild of Australia Aaron Pink talks about his life on the road and some athletes from the world of online gaming who tell Feegs and Carla more about the prime physical and mental condition needed to excel in their sport.

Acting Assistant Police Commissioner Andrew Massingham joins for a weekly update on the latest local crime issues and statistics. AAC Massingham tells us more about 3 armed robberies taking place in Goondiwindi this morning; as well as an update on Taskforce Guardian. 

Aspire Retire Financial Services co-founder Olivia Maragna joins for Money Talks. Olivia tells us more about ASIC suing the ASX over alleged misleading statements about replacing its CHESS system and developments that mean all Australians will be able to use digital ID on their phones for all personal documentation like passports and driver’s licences.

For our Local Issues segment: Member for Miller and former Transport Minister Mark Bailey joins Feegs to discuss the September closure of the Walter Taylor Bridge in Indooroopilly in more detail. Mr Bailey discusses the future traffic disruptions that come with putting off repairs, and also shares his intentions for a community meeting in Graceville today regarding this issue.

Feegs and Richo taste the fresh produce on offer at Ekka,  joined live by RNA Executive Chef Sean Cummings who explains more about its origins. Feegs and Richo are then joined by Woombye Cheese Company’s Beth O’Leary who puts their cheese palates to the test.
