Diet or exercise: What’s best for your heart health?

We probably all know the statistics that indicate that cardio vascular disease is the leading killer in Australia resulting in the death of an Australian every 27 minutes.

What we probably don’t definitively know, is, what is better if you want to maximise heart health  – diet or exercise?

Dr Christopher Quirk is a cardiologist at Sydney Adventist HealthCare who also has a degree in exercise physiology, has been involved in running (until his knees gave out) and competitive sport, and is still a competitive kayaker …so personally and professionally heart health is a passion.

He joins John Stanley to explain what’s best for heart health.
