COVID affecting your insurance, even decades from now?

Some experts fear that Australians infected with covid could one day be penalised or even locked out from seeking life insurance. 

Jane Tiller, a legal and genomics expert from Monash University’s Public Health Genomics Program, has done significant work on how life insurers use genetic test results to discriminate against consumers and how this affects consumers and their fears around insurance discrimination.

John Stanley asks Jane Tiller if she thinks insurers are allowed to discriminate against people who have contracted covid at some point in their life from no fault of their own.
