There are growing concerns the federal government isn’t doing enough to safeguard Australia’s agriculture industry.

The Federal Nationals are using National Biosecurity Week to press the government for answers on how it plans to fund biosecurity measures – and to push for the introduction of a container levy.

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with Leader David Littleproud, who says inadequate safeguarding could cost the economy billions of dollars.
