Brisbane gets out of first gear

Kevin Turner

After a 221% increase in median house prices across the decade ending 2009, Brisbane’s median house produced an underwhelming 21% increase in the last decade ending 2019. The last quarter (ending January 2020) saw growth of 2 per cent, which is annualised at 8 per cent. Is Brisbane’s real estate market about to (finally) get out of first-gear? Simon Pressley joins me to review Brisbane suburbs and local listings.
