‘A slap in the face’: Bali bomb maker uses past to promote new business venture

Peter Fegan

The man responsible for making the 2002 Bali bombs, Umar Patek, has been released early and he has opened a coffee shop.

Umar Patek was responsible for the death of 202 people including 88 Australians and was supposed to serve 20 years in prison, but was released on good behaviour.

Peter Fegan has commented, saying, “This has to be without doubt one of the most sickening things I have ever witnessed.”
