$50 million to pull koala’s from brink of extinction – will it work?

The federal government has put $50 million on the table over the next four years to try and save east coast koalas. But does it go far enough? Is it just a failed promise waiting to happen?

The environment minister Sussan Ley joined me earlier. We then caught up with the head of the Australian Koala Foundation, Deborah Tarrant, for her take on the announcement.
