1,000 Telstra job cuts in Queensland

In the wake of Telstra’s announcement that it is going to slash 8,000 jobs over the next four years questions are being asked about how many will go from Queensland.

Both Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington are demanding answers.

The Community and Public Sector Union represents many of them and Deputy National President Rupert Evans tells Ben as many as 1,000 could be under threat in Queensland.
