Award-winning Aussie musician Pete Murray says he hopes people get behind the live music scene, but he understands many are still doing it tough.

He’s going to tour again after three years and COVID-19, and he’s got some new music.

“When you’ve got something that’s taken from you, you realise how much you miss it,” he told Peter Fegan on Brisbane Live.

He said the tough times aren’t quite over yet, with people still feeling the pinch after COVID-19.

Murray also had a little visitor during the interview, with his young daughter trying to get dad’s attention in the background!
