Pauline Hanson is threatening to withhold support for non-critical legislation, if the federal government doesn’t take action on the drought.

The One Nation senator has made the threat after hearing Mark from Bourke’s heartbreaking call to Alan Jones last week.

The father of four broke down in tears has he begged Prime Minister Scott Morrison to “give us some bloody hope”.

Mark’s call prompted an enormous response, with hundreds of thousands of people hearing his emotional message.

Senator Hanson tells Alan Jones it was hard to listen to.

“Every time I hear that interview from Mark it just breaks my heart.

“And this has been going on for years and years and years and yet nothing’s been done about it.”

Ms Hanson says enough is enough and has promised to hold the government to account this morning.

“I’m just going to have to draw a line in the sand today.

“I’ve got a meeting with Mathias Cormann… first thing this morning. I’m just going to have it out with the government.

“They’ll know exactly where I stand on this matter. Something has to be done about it.”

Many people were worried for Mark’s welfare, with Alan staying in close touch.

He spoke with him on the air on Monday morning, with Mark saying he’s doing better.

“I’m fine. It’s been a bit overwhelming but the support and the encouragement has really picked me up and also our community.

“The community, I think now with your help, has seen someone is listening.”
