Lucas’ Papaw Ointment urgently recalled after batches contaminated
The Therapeutic Goods Administration has recalled several batches of Lucas’ Papaw Ointment due to a mould contamination.
Customers are reassured the contamination poses minimal risk to the general population but the products are being recalled as a precaution.
Lucas’ Papaw Remedies operations manager Jake Swinglehurst told Spencer Howson if your ointment is from an affected batch, you should stop use immediately.
“You can go to the retailed you bought it from and get a refund or you can send it directly to Lucas’ Papaw Remedies and we can send back a replacement tube or jar.”
The affected products come in 15g, 75g and 200g sizes (find full list of recalled batches below).
