Units at the Callide power station, based in Central Queensland, have been offline this morning following multiple equipment failures.

The site has four units in total, one of them already offline after a catastrophic failure in May last year.

CS Energy says all four units are offline.

The coal-fired power station is key to the national grid, but a government spokesperson says there are no major power concerns for the electricity grid.
