How the quality of your sleep could be impacting your blood sugar
If you’re concerned about your blood sugar, new research suggests keeping an eye on your sleep may help.
Findings have indicated a later bedtime and poor sleep quality could result in suboptimal blood sugar levels the next day.
Sleep expert Shea Morrison told Sofie Formica an increase in cortisol due to bad sleeps are the cause.
“If you are somebody who’s falling into the category of [type 2] diabetes, this is where you need to be particularly concerned.
“It’s really taking that time … [for] making sure you’ve got some really good practices and routines in place.”
