‘Scaremongering’ claims that a ‘rain bomb’ is about to hit Brisbane have fired Garry Youngberry up this afternoon.

The veteran weatherman has shut down headlines attempting to prey on the concerns of Brisbane residents, following on from February’s floods.

“There’s a serious rainfall event but please, The Courier Mail, give us a break,” he told Bill McDonald. “Let’s get the facts right. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, do your research!”
