Cost-of-living crunch: Coles locks in prices of 1100 everyday household items

Coles has announced this afternoon it has “locked in” the price of more than 1,100 products until next year, as cost-of-living pressures continue to hurt Australian consumers.
It includes free range eggs, cheese, bread, pasta and dishwashing tablets, many in the Coles brand.
It comes after the supermarket giant undertook a survey of customers, and found 85 per cent of people had made changes to their shopping habits.
The price won’t change until January 2023.
Some of the locked in items include:
- Coles free range eggs, 12 pack
- Coles shredded tasty cheese, 700g
- Soft round rolls, 6 pack
- Arnotts salada range
- Coles beef mince, 3 star (500g)
- Coles thin BBQ beef sausages 1.8kg
