A local pastor and his brothers have taken crime into their own hands in Forestdale, Logan City.

Oti Oti, who works at the Divine Ministries Church in Richlands, decided to start a community patrol after his Mum and Dad’s home was broken into.

“They’re elderly… I don’t want want my parents to be living in fear,” he said.

The patrol also coincides with a fitness program which is being run at the church.

Oti Oti said the group saw the initiative as a great way to help the community, while simultaneously staying fit and healthy.
