A busy street in Brisbane’s CBD has been closed by a fallen tree after a series of wild storms.

Mary Street is closed between Albert Street and Edward Street after a tree fell across the road.

Just yesterday, there was traffic chaos in Brisbane’s northside after a tree fell across Sandgate Road at Ascot.

Four people have been rescued from floodwaters in southeast Queensland since the weekend.
