An Ipswich business owner is puzzled by a strange additional charge on his power bill.

Ross Williams, who runs the Fourthchild Cafe Restaurant in Ipswich, was shocked to receive a letter earlier this year predicting a huge $7000 electricity price hike.

He has just received his following his November power bill which totalled just over $5,500.

But there’s a strange, inexplicable charge of nearly $1800, he told Neil Breen.
