Novak Djokovic could find out today whether his appeal to remain in the country will be successful.

The World Number 1 has been in immigration detention since his visa was cancelled last week for failing to meet entry requirements.

3AW reporter Shane McInnes told Neil Breen the Home Affairs Minister could still have the final say.

“The judge could effectively rule today: ‘Look, I’m not going to deport you, I’m going to send the decision back to the Home Affairs Minister for her to reconsider under law her decision’.”
